Hand-Lettered Quote #4 + Print Giveaway!

It took me a year to finish all six quotes for my living room wall. I did three of them right off the bat, but then life got busy and this is what the wall looked like for almost a year…

It was a little embarrassing when I had my Summerhill Sketching get-togethers each month. If someone new came, who hadn’t been to my house before, they would look at the wall and wonder if I was making some sort of statement with the empty frames. During our group sharing time, I would happen to glance up and notice the empty frames and suddenly blurt out an explanation to the newcomers of how I had great plans to fill all the frames with my favorite quotes, but I’d been really busy and blah, blah, blah…….

Then in March, after yet another sketching session when I had to once again explain to someone why I had three empty frames hanging on my wall, I thought, “This is ridiculous! Just do the quotes, already!!!!” Three days later, they were all finished and hanging in their frames…..

Aaaah, I feel much better now!

Here’s quote #4…

8″ x 12″, drawn with Pitt Artist’s pens on Stillman and Birn Beta series paper

Isn’t that a good one?

If you have a favorite quote, why not share it in a comment? I’d love to find some new favorites, and you just might win a free print!
